Welcome to the
first edition of
Imagine...
I’m delighted to guest edit this month’s edition of our new digital magazine, which features my client, Ron Snaith.
At Irwin Mitchell, we’re passionate about helping our clients achieve their full potential following a life-changing event such as serious injury, illness, or medical accident. We tell their inspirational stories, while sharing useful tips and legal information to help if you, or someone you care for, finds themselves in a similar situation.
Ron’s story is a powerful reminder that cancer does not define us; it’s our response to it that matters. Living with cancer is so much more than treatment and symptom management.
Ron manages his diagnosis with his positive attitude and exercise, which improves his mental and physical wellbeing. His ability to maintain an active lifestyle, even after surgery and physical limitations, is testament to his extraordinary strength and spirit.
The benefits of sport are something that our ambassador and paralympic champion Hannah Cockroft OBE, is keen to promote. You can watch her introducing our competition winner Praise to wheelchair racing on page 5.
Our clients often speak out about their experiences to help others and we’re incredibly proud to share their stories. Find out how the pupils of Bettridge school enjoyed an inclusive sports day with British Athletics, how Pauline Harrison’s story highlights the need to keep talking about the ongoing risks of asbestos, and imagine what the future holds for 11-year-old Zach, who changed the law on epilepsy trolling.
There’s also important guidance for employers across businesses, charities, and other organisations on Trans Rights in the workplace, and Richard Saberton shares his experience of sepsis to help raise awareness of the condition.
We’ll help you to imagine what’s possible, so nothing feels impossible.

Richard’s story emphasises the importance of being sepsis savvy.
