The summer edition of our magazine is packed full of inspirational client stories, useful tips, and legal information to help if you, or someone you care for, finds themselves at the start of a similar journey after a life-changing illness or injury.
Building relationships with our clients is at the heart of what we do, and our support doesn’t end when their claims settle. We often find ourselves staying in touch with clients long into their future and it brings us great joy to see them thrive after overcoming the life changing events that bring them to us in the first place.
When Jo’s husband Forbes instructed us following his cancer diagnosis, his primary focus was his family and how the cancer had impacted them. He wanted to ensure that their future was secure, and that they’d be looked after once he was no longer here.
Jo’s story shows that when faced with heartbreaking tragedy, having the right support around you can help you to focus on the future. She’s an incredible mum who’s building a fulfilling life for Hugh and Lois. Now that the legal case is coming to an end, the family can close the chapter on the litigation and look forward to creating memories together.
Sadly, coming to terms with the loss of a loved one is something many of our clients must deal with. Andrew’s story of coping with grief and bereavement after the loss of his father to mesothelioma (an asbestos related cancer) offers comfort and support, as well as practical information to people navigating their own loss.
Many of our clients tell their stories to help others. Jon shares his stroke story to help other survivors, Nicky Alan gives her top tips for dealing with a serious illness abroad, and Richard Davies wants to change the way people perceive limb loss, by proving that his disability’s not going to hold him back.
Hear from our serious injury expert, Richard Biggs, who explores rehabilitation provision for amputees, and our welfare benefits expert Melissa Davis, who considers how the system might change under a Labour government.
There’s also a chance to catch up on our latest news and find out more about our exciting programme of webinars and events.
We’ll help you to imagine what’s possible, so nothing feels impossible.
