Our
Support and Rehabilitation services
Our Support and Rehabilitation team are experienced clinicians and industry experts. They work with health care professionals, local authorities, charities and the NHS to help you and your family adjust to life after a serious injury or illness.
How our team can support you
Whilst our legal experts manage your case, our Support and Rehabilitation team will guide you through the maze of services available to support your rehabilitation and promote your financial, physical and psychological wellbeing.

- Engage and promote family and carer support.
- Plan palliative care and palliative rehabilitation.
- Cope with personal loss and change.
- Access welfare and other benefits advice.
- Manage issues such as equipment and housing.
Looking forward to a brighter future
Our client was injured in a road traffic collision in 2021, suffering a spinal fracture and nerve compression requiring surgery. Sadly, the surgery didn’t resolve their neurological injuries, and our client now lives with incontinence, pain, reduced mobility, and poor sensation.
Finding the right support
Our Support and Rehabilitation team introduced our client to Lesly, an experienced nurse. She met our client at home and carried out a needs assessment, which identified several areas where she could offer support.
Lesly liaised with our client’s GP to make sure referrals were in place for physiotherapy, urology, mental health and pain management services, and arranged for pain medication to be delivered to their home.
She also supported our client to interview and appoint care staff, who now provide additional support at home. This allowed our client’s partner to reduce their caring role and be more actively involved in family life. Lesly also referred our client’s partner to carers’ charities to offer additional support and make sure he was receiving the help he needed to come to terms with what had happened.
Moving to a new home
Prior to the accident the family of eight lived in a three-bedroomed house. Lesly liaised with the housing authority and Shelter, working collaboratively to appeal and upgrade our client’s housing priority. Thanks to Lesly’s support, the family has now moved to a six-bedroomed house, better suited to their accommodation needs and better adapted to our client’s challenging mobility needs.
Our Support and Rehabilitation Coordinator has helped our client to see a brighter future beyond the impact of their injuries.
Lesly’s expertise and advice, her hands-on support in daunting hospital and nursing care environments and her clear, calm and capable manner have been an absolute lifesaver.
