Fixed Fees
In the event that you find yourselves in receipt of a Tribunal claim, your first thoughts will likely be: “how much is this going to cost the business to defend and what are the chances of the claim being successful?”
We can help to answer both of these questions with our fixed fee Employment Tribunal Merits Assessment.
We will ask you to provide a copy of the tribunal claim form, along with any relevant documents. We will then review these in order to identify the claims that are being pursued and assess the merits of these claims.
We will clearly set out, in plain English, whether or not we think the business has a reasonable prospect of successfully defending the claim(s) and what the next steps are likely to be.
In the event that we think the claim will be successful, we will give an indication of the potential exposure of the business, in terms of the compensation that could be awarded.
In addition to this, we will also provide a fee estimate for defending the claim to a final hearing, so your business is armed with all relevant information to make a decision.
If appropriate, we will offer solutions to try to reduce the risk of future tribunal claims being brought.
