Large scale infrastructure projects

We have a strong and specialist national construction & engineering team.

We advise on both contentious and non-contentious construction matters, supporting clients throughout every stage of their projects. Our team includes a lawyer with engineering background, enabling us to understand complex technical projects from both practical and legal perspectives, and an accredited NEC Project Manager and trainer. Vijay Bange has recently joined as national head and brings with him a wealth of experience advising in relation to large domestic and international infrastructure projects, including investigations into defective sports grounds, namely football and rugby stadiums.

Our contentious team is highly experienced in resolving disputes, with members holding Fellowship status at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, acting as panel adjudicators, and belonging to the Technology and Construction Solicitors Association. We deal with all forms of dispute resolution in the construction and built environment sectors, using our expertise to anticipate and address challenges so clients can achieve their goals smoothly.

On the non-contentious side, we offer a full range of specialist services, including procurement advice, tendering, drafting and negotiating building and engineering contracts, professional appointments, collateral warranties, bonds and guarantees, development agreements, finance and security documents, and standard form contracts such as NEC, JCT, FIDIC, ICC, MF/1, and IChemE.
